No confirmation, just sometime early in July. I'm guessing the 11th, same day as the 3G iPhone.

Differences between 2.0 upgrade?
Does anyone know if the upgrade to 2.0 will be the same software on the new iPhone 3G? Is all the 3G going to give you is a new case, a little more memory, and access to 3G network? Where I live they don't have 3G in my area yet, so that is a mute point for now. I have the 8G and that is more than enough memory, I usually keep 2 movies, all my songs, my 1000 or so contacts, appointments, etc and still have 1/2 my memory available. When i am done with one movie, I just unsync it and put on another.
I just want to see if this will be the same software as the new phone will have. Any ideas. Thanks. |

Im sure 2.0 will be the same for both iPhones.... But who knows apple may have something up their sleeve... They always do... we will just have to wait and see.
