Question Should I update to 2.0? V1 iPhone owners ONLY PLEASE

Well I'm still on 1.1.4 JB with a decent amount of apps. I keep telling myself to wait for 2.0 JB but the only difference will be themes and signal bars. I really like what I did to my signal bars (green and red when dead)
I also have a modified theme

Now is there anything else I am going to loose?
Please only vote if you are a v1 iphone owner.

Very happy I updated but do miss Summerboard. Functionally 2.0 is light years ahead of what I was able to do with my 1.1.4 JB.

Your theme looks awesome. You've obviously put a lot of time into it! I'll bet you have every JB app under the sun, too. I'd say you're pretty hardcore and will be pretty displeased with 2.0 right now. I know it's hard to wait (I'm in the same boat as you), but I think it will really only be a matter of days before the JB is released, and apps will migrate shortly.

Frankly, a 1.1.4 JB seems to be more stable than a stock 2.0 right now anyway. Let the kinks get worked out.

Just my opinion.

To tell you the truth I dont have that many apps (compared to most people i have seen)
I keep it clean

I have (other than what you see on the home screen) NES emulator with like 5 games, icopter, tap tap revenge, mobilechat, flashlight (love this one and i see it in the appstore), drummer, videorecorder, iplot (amazing graphing calculator), squid, sendpics (emails full picture), twinkle (modded to send my location every time im connected to wifi incase iphone is stollen), touchpad (i see something similar in appstore), parkinglot, raging thunder

and thats actually a lot but only 1 more page worth of stuff

I see you have a lot if custom icons and backgrounds. If not being able to change that stuff does not bother you than I would say update. If you like to be able to customize all the visuals, then I would not and hope for a jail brake soon.

I'd wait until 2.0 is jailbroken, as well. I wasn't too impressed when I upgraded my V1 from 1.1.4 to 2.0. I was less impressed when I found out what a pain it would be to drop it back down. With my 3G, I don't have a choice but to live with 2.0.

There is no guarantee that some of the more popular 3rd party apps will make it to the App Store. There also is no guarantee that 3rd party developers for jailbroken iPhones will upgrade their software in order to be compatible with 2.0.

just asking this question makes me wonder why I am even answering it... If you had researched (which I know you have), then you already know the answer is a resounding NO! I am currently a jailbroke 1.1.4 with a ton of apps that I've spent a year refining. Do not update unless you want to start a bunch of threads about how you can downgrade back to 1.1.4! Search that topic!

I went from a jailbroken 1.1.3 to 2.0 and the only thing I miss are themes (and I miss them a lot). What I don't miss is unsupported apps, crashing apps, a messy place to hunt down 100s of applications that I have no idea what they do (Installer) and all the weird workaround to get things to work. I liked my jailbroken 1.1.3, but it was hard work and a pain to keep updated.

I moved to 2.0 and couldn't be happier (unless they came out with a themes program). There are so many apps to choose from and already, regular updates. They are easy to find, clean and (I feel) reasonably priced.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
