Ring tone level

Guys i am sure that it's been asked b4, but i realy need to know with a simple explanation ' as my english not so perfect' on how to increase the damn low ringtones? İ can't here a thing in my pocket.

upload you own ringtone that is at a higher volume.. you can take any mp3, wav, or m4a file and cut the part you want and the use something like cool edit pro or aduacity to raise the volume... but dont make it too much louder because it will crackle and pop on the speaker... then you can upload it to your phone with ring ring... download for ring ring below

This solution worked for me. It has been posted on various forums and tested by many. Pretty simple to do and the reults, in my case, solved all the ring and alert levels. Here is the link:

If you haven't hacked the phone yet you are really up a creek. I haven't jailbroken mine yet (personal choice) and I was really dissapointed in the ringtone volume and speaker volume until I realized it came from the factory half way turned up. Also I noticed my ringtones purchased from the iTunes store are WAY louder than the factory ones.

I would follow Skiz's path with Audacity. I tried it every which way with my virgin phone and it wasn't having any part of that.
