Restore without internet.... - iPhone 3G

Hi guys, Is there any way to do this? I am at work behind a firewall and I have researched and saw that Apple IPhone Update Server uses port 3689. THat is not open here. Anyway to do a restore without that connection?

You restore with iTunes. So iTunes needs to see beyond the firewall. You may just have to wait until you get home.

download the fw on your pc, and hold shit while you press restore and select the fw file from your pc and it should work

i don`t think he has to, cuz this way you don`t need to connect to the internet
