PYSL Version 0.3 (SMS only) - iPhone 3G

There is a new software out there called PYSL which will hide your SMS. I would really love to have this app but the thing is I can't seem to make it work with 1.1.3. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong because I was able to download the app with no problem. It just wont do anything. Check this link out for more info on the app http://code.google.com/p/pysl/

I've tried it out but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

it works for me, just update to 1.1.4, just need to get the most out of it now.........not that i need it

Maybe it doesn't work for 1.1.3. So how did it turn out? When you opened your text msg did the filtered one not show?

i need to work on it a bit but it seemed not to, its retreving the ones ive filtered that i need to work on

Tried it last night. Rebooted the phone as it asked. Got an error after opening it up and taping on one of the options. It said the program didn't install correctly and that I need to install the "dyl library file". So, I uninstalled it.
Then, after I hit the home button the phone was stuck in the spinning circle you get after an app install/uninstall for what seemed an eternity. I tried holding down the sleep button to power it down. Didn't do anything. Then, I figured, great, I have to do a restore. As soon as I held both the sleep and home button down the phone powered down. I booted it back up and the app was gone.

Close call. I won't be installing this app again. Not worth a restore.

well, I think I killed it, because it would not turn on, and even in DFU mode, it would not restore...

so I took it to apple, and got it replaced under warranty.

see thread "Rest in Peace, iPhone" in iPhone Modifications.

and I tried that app, if you notice, all the letters are Caps. that pissed me off, so I deleted it with a vengeance LOL.
