That indicates you are using 3G. Why do you think it is using EDGE when the 3G icon is showing?

Having just bought my iPhone the first part of this week, 2.0.2 is my first software upgrade. In the process of the update iTunes gave an error message and said it would have to close. Well, the iPhone froze, and after getting it and iTunes up again, iTunes said the phone would have to be reset to the factory original settings before it could be sync. Well, to make a long story short I didn't think that 2.0.2 would be loaded into the phone, but it shows that it did take the update. Everything seems to be working great.
This is my first iPhone, and without a doubt it is the best phone I've ever owned.

I noticed more bars on edge.

NEW 2.0.2 BUG? Maybe. Ring tone volume resets to half after being set to full. this has happened a bunch of times. On the phone I just had replaced and on the NEW phone I just got. Close sounds,settings and in two minutes ring tome volume is back down to half???

Not a new bug, but a bug none the less. I have had this happen from time to time. Not a constant problem, but more of one that seems to happen in sprits and doesn't last long.
The fix for me is to up the volume thru settings and not the switch on the side of the phone. Go figure? After I do this it will be weeks before it happens again.

Can anyone here assist me with upgrading to 2.0? I currently have the 1.1.4 version and wanted to upgrade to 2.0 or better. I'm also using T-Mobile at the moment.
