I just got an iPhone and am very excited about it. It came pre-installed with 1.1.2. I understand that there is no method yet to unlock it. But I would like to be able to start using it (without calling features). I believe this is called jailbreaking...
Which method should I use. There are so many out there and I am not sure which one will work with new iPhone 1.1.2. Will someone please help me? Thanks!
Yup...I just completed my first OOB 1.1.2 JB a week ago and I can vouch it works. To me its the simplest guide out there but if you follow it and have patience/ask questions you'll be all set...

I followed these directions and was Jailbroken in no time! Very easy to follow as long as you do EVERYTHING it says and have a little patience. Now I am ready to load it with Apps! So far I just have a little ANT program that makes tiny ants crawl around the phone...pretty neat. Oh and this is my first post so HELLO from San Diego!!
