    NES don't work anymore (SADFACE)

I just updated NES emulator through installer.app and it doesn't work anymore. I went from version 1.RC4 (something like that) to version 1.0.0 and now it doesn't work anymore. I try to run NES now and it just closes immediately. I've tried restarts up the wazoo, and I'm thinking about restoring although I don't really want to.

Is there anyway to install programs via SSH? All the files that are installed on my iPhone are in a folder and have .plst and things like that. Whenever I unzip an app for iPhone it usually just has the actual app.

Really I just want to revert back to the older version and iFuntastic doesn't work at all for my iPhone.

    Please help!

Install Squid and make sure that the NES application file's permissions are set to at somewhere aroudn +755.

I didn't see you mention trying that in your post. If the application doesn't have permissions, it just wont launch. Dunno why Installer.app didn't do that already. You can also try uninstalling/reinstalling it, making sure to exit installer each time.

On the actual application itself it is
    Permissions: 493 (755)

BUT on all other files inside the NES file folder they are set to
    420 (644)

Should I go through one by one and correct the permissions to make them like the app?

I've tried uninstalling and installing the app several times.

ever since I installed the upgrade my nes sound quality has dramatically decreased. The sound repeats itself.
It wasn't the best quality to begin with, but it was bearable. But now I have to mute it...
