NEED HELP! cant view mail!

Ok, so i reinstalled 1.1.4 thinking that it might be my jailbroken phone. And whenever i try to click on my mail icon, it opens the screen for a second, then closes and goes back to the main screen. Can anyone help?

I had that problem after jailbreaking a few months ago. Did alot of searching and tried Many things but ended ip restoring and taking it to the apple store where they replaced it no questions asked. Gl to you.

edit: btw I never jailbroke again after that incident. I'm waiting for the app store

Download syncfix from the iclarified source in installer... That fixed my problem

First, I'd restore, and then choose to setup as a NEW PHONE.

Then try to use your mail. If it works, carry on:

Then jailbreak your phone using pwnage (ziphone has had some mail problems).
Try your mail again.
If it works, come back and say "thanks"
If it doesn't work, restore your phone again, and setup as new phone.
Try mail.
If it works, be happy.

thanks anyway guys, i figured it out, one of my restore points was corrupted so i used an older restore point on itunes.

That would have worked, too.

For anyone that might come across this problem again the easiest way to fix it is to go to var/moblie/libary/mail and set permissions to 777. After that shut your iPhone down and restart it and your mail app will work again.
