I believe the reason that the iPhone is so much more responsive and accurate than any other touch screen is because it is heat sensitive instead of pressure sensitive.

Its actually not heat sensitive. Its electro magnetics that make the screen work.

The iPhone screen responds by monitoring electrical currant. This runs through us all, and explains why the iPhone wont respond if you touch the screen with leather gloves on for example.
