Do you have a 5.0 ipcc and provisioning from at&t?

Sorry, man. All I did was update. It kept my 5.0 ipcc intact.

iphun, I have ATT_US.ipcc and I am provisioned for unlimited family text plan. The ipcc is from the dl mentioned in the post. I have installed it using the old iTunes and followed step by step. It is a painful process to restore, replace iTunes, remove apple mobile, update ipcc, reinstall mobile and iTunes and again and again. I have done it twice and never works./ I had it on b3 but not since.

You should not need to restore more than once. I should probably change those directions, I pasted them from a PM I sent to someone that wanted to restore and then get the ipcc back on the phone. Once you do all that are the options for mms their? That is all the process does is give you the options on the phone. MMS will only work if your account is provisioned correctly.

I get no options even. I'll try once more.

Make sure you restart your phone after you update the ipcc file. I did not reset (hold home and power button to reset) I just held the power button and slide to power off, waited till it was done and powered it back on. I don't know if that would make a diffrerence or not.

Yeah you shouldn't need to restore, just all the itunes crap I never lost it so I guess I can't say for sure how to get it back, but after this time if you can't get it back I would just wait for at&t which I know by 'later this summer' they mean the very last week of summer. I am hoping with all the bashing from us and the press maybe they will put themselves into full throttle to get their s**t together. I did hear a good point against at&t - WE are the country that came out with the iphone, WE had it first yet we don't get to use all the features at release. They knew about it since March and I and many others called that they would not be ready by release and guess what we were right. They should have let all beta users get access to a test network where iphones could use mms and tethering so they could figure out how to get it working by release.

No dice. I actually installed the Win 8.2 from beta 4 (via the dl link) on my Win laptop which has never had iTunes. I then connected my iPhone with 3.0GM and updated the ipcc file from the dl link. I then restarted it using hold down power and slide. Restart showed no MMS options at all, even none in Settings under Messages where you can turn MMS on and off. Must be something with the phone.

That's strange. I'm sorry, it should have worked. If you want to give it one more try...I'll zip up the file I used and email it to you directly, just pm me an address to send it to.
