GPS works just as it did before 3.0...it can 'follow' me too while I'm driving and is very accurate.

(in Dallas - great signal coverage here)

Cell-tower triangulation seems tighter on my V1. Maybe it's just because they put a blue dot in the center, but in the Philly area on major routes, my "circle" stays within 1 or 2 city blocks... it's nearly GPS

Yep i noticed that too. I think google maps loads faster too. Like zooming and whatnot. I almost think it cached the maps as well.

does the circle follow you movement on the v1, jus curious?

Yes, it updates every few minutes as your circle moves (depending on how tight it's tracking you). It does tend to get confused easily, though, causing the map to zoom and jump erratically, so I usually don't do that.

okay, just got done reading all 52 pages, question:
I didn't see anything about flash, can anyone tell me if 3.0 will support a flash player?

Excited to see that GPS will now have turn by turn voice!

Smile swirly mms

hello. i just jailbroke my iphone 3g and am trying to get swirly mms messaging to work. i got it downloaded but when i try to use it it tells me "failed to send mms possible incorrect mmsc setting. unexpected http response (http/1.1. 403 forbidden". can anyone help me get this to work. please!!!!!!
