    iPhone Contacts and Microsoft Outlook

    Hey,

I sync my iPhone's contacts to Microsoft Outlook on my PC running Windows 7, yet when I use custom tags Outlook removes them and screws with my contacts. For example, I work at a hospital and have a main contact name for my hospital, and each unit custom tagged by unit name. When I sync to Outlook, however, the tags are erased and only the first number is kept...so periodically I lose 15 numbers!!!

Obviously there's not going to be a great Windows solution, so does anyone know of better programs to sync contacts, e-mail and calendars for Windows PCs? I like to have it all in once place, to track my work schedule!

    Thanks,

    Dave (from Canada)

As you have noticed, Outlook does not play well with custom fields. I too work in a hospital and need the number for several units. I have each unit listed as a separate contact and they sync fine. I don't know if any other program would sync the custom fields any better for you and also include email and calendars. Maybe you could create a group for the hospital contacts.
