How to send an email from a text message? - iPhone 3G

I know how to send a text message from an email address, my quesiton is how can someone using a normal cellphone send a text message TO MY email address?

at least on my iphone there is no way to type in an email address for the recipient line. (that was for a test, the situation I'm envisioning involves a non-iphone cell.)

To have them send you an email address, all they do is go to send the text as normal. Type it up and what not, but instead of putting your phone number in the "To:" section, they put your email address. Thats it. And you can reply to their number from the email they sent.
