how much space is the average app going to take up - iPhone 3G

I use about 5-6GBs for my music, i dont ned morethan that, but are the apps going to take up a ton of space that i should reconsider buying the 16gb 3g over the 8gb or will 2 gbs of space be enough for apps?

I'm not assuming too large, I think i remember hearing that you can download small ones off Edge, but large ones that are 10 MB you'll need WIFI. If that was true and that they were considering the large ones to be 10 MB then I don't think they'll be too big.
