Firmware recommendation - iPhone 3G

What is the best firmware version to use? i have 1.1.3 right now (jailbroken and unlocked 8gb with Tmobile sim) and theres things that don't work right. One is a problem a lot of people get: YouTube cannot connect.
Second is customize. i can't use it if i have Summerboard installed and vice versa. it goes to open then just crashes out. plus it doesn't change anything when i have it installed by itself.

those are my two major problems with 1.1.3. so any suggestions or maybe problem fixes would be appreciated. thanks.

i have 1.1.3 , my youtube is fine & customize works ok with summerboard for me (just can't change the dock & carrer logos) i have had problems with youtube not working, but i just restored, everything was fine... try updating your apps or finding other sources... try this http://iappcat.com/r/2086 thats my source its look your Apps(1.1.3) thats everything i have installed...

same here. Customize utube and smb all work great for me. Ive finally got all the bugs out of 1.1.3 so y update to .4 when we dont need it for another couple of months.

u got a fix for the sms order problem? thats my only problem

there is no fix for the SMS problem. Unfortunatly u must be on 1.1.4 for that to work properly. I have herd pple say you should try changing your iphones time from manual to auto and viseversa. You can try this but it didnt work for me.

I got to go with 1.1.4, there is a reason a new firmware came out...they fixed bugs and i do believe i have had better service and battery life...

as for applications not working, i have found that any application i want works with the exception of one SMSNotify, and i didn't even have that working on 1.1.3. Customize 2.0 is awesome and there is just potential.

I get great service and battery life (considering I play with my phone all the time). Youtube DID work when I restored the phone but that stopped working after maybe a day, I wasnt keeping track. But so far more apps have worked on .3 than .4.

And when does customize 2.0 release?

i Tell everyone if you cant get 1.1.3 to work completly then switch back to 1.1.2 as it is more stable im on 1.1.3 and i have no problems i have everything working.

Make sure you have the custom customize. Its called the Customized 1.1.3 version 1.21 (custom)
