I grabbed one of the .M4R files from this thread and tried to drop in iTunes nothing happens.

If I need to change the length, I cannot figure out how to do this if it does not appear in itunes.

    Help please?

Did you double-click the file to play it? When you do, it should load and play through iTunes, and then it can be synced to your phone.

In any case, Google "Audiko" and you'll find an awesome site where you can upload/make/download your own ringtones. Put "Crank" in the search bar, and you can download a ready-made crank ringtone in the proper format...

    Using iTunes to create ringtone

Here is a step-by-step on how to create a ringtone via iTunes...hope this helps.

Also you can convert the m4r file to an mp3 using any free audio conversion program. Google one and download it then convert m4r to mp3 to use that ringtone on any other phone. Have fun!

    Thanks but...

None of this is relevent to my post.

The .m4r files on this thread do not load into itunes. They were posted for that purpose.

I wanted a working m4r file which I found on another site.
