bought new iphone 1.1.1 firmware

im trying to figure out how to downgrade my brand new iphone (1.1.1 firmware). everytime i use apptapp, and when the itunes pop up, i dont get the whole continue thing, i always get the part where u have to sign up with at&t, and it won't lead me to downgrade my iphone. what do i do?

this is probably not what you want to hear, but i would wait for the official 1.1.1 jailbreak. It sounds like it shouldn't be too much longer. Assuming you do downgrade (which is a lot of work), and go crazy modding, you may have to re-do all of that work after upgrading back to 1.1.1 anyways.

There's enough on a stock iphone to hold most people over for a few days. I think i lasted 2 or 3 before modding.
