She basically calls me a liar again.
i complained to the manager on duty and just wrote a lovely note about her to her supervisor.
I just backed up my phone.

That's too bad she treated you like that, you should have pointed her to this thread once she got your iPhone working again.

Yeah that sucks she had to be that way. It's not like she works for apple and apple employees usually don't even care when you have a jailbroken phone. They do care when you have beta versions on the phone though. I would have told her if she knew so much about iphones then she would know that there isn't a jb yet and until she is better educated she is in no position to be telling you what YOU did. By the 3rd accusation I would have flipped on her and made a scene so a manager would feel obligated to come over. Then try and milk it for a gift card or something

She had very little knowledge about Iphones. She couldn't understand why i would restore.I told her it's the first thing you do when something is wrong with your phone. I didn't tell her about the Beta Version - just told her the phone was buggy.

I've written to her supervisor and if that does not get an adequate response, I'll forward the email to his supervisor.

That just makes me think of a best buy commercial with some girl saying they know more than walmart about tv's. I bet you would have had a better experience at walmart even though this had to do with an iphone. If she didn't know why you would restore then she shouldn't be working around any technology! Anyone who has owned an ipod or iphone at least would remember seeing the 'Restore' 'If you are experiencing problems' in itunes. She probably would have given you a dumb look or accused you of jb'ing again if you said beta version.

Definitely pursue it and make sure they know how she treated you cause you never know what they might do do make you happy. And of course something needs to be done about her.

Hell, I've never written a complaint letter to any company about anyone before, but i intend to pursue this. If she had just accused me once, i might not be so annoyed, but even after explaining why i restored, she continued to call me a liar.

can someone please answer my question! i am a beta tester curently on 3.0 GM, do i have to upgrade to 3.1 beta? will i always have to be on beta or when the official 3.1 rolls around can i have that instead? thanx in advance

Try restoring your phone on iTunes.

It may DL the current Apple server 3.0, then it will not be beta?

NO, you don't have to upgrade to 3.1 unless you want to.
