Honestly I was just speaking from my personal experience. I never used iTunes before I got my iPhone and my collection was a mess, tag-wise. Thusly, I hated what iTunes did to it. After extensive retagging, I now see the benefits of using iTunes... it's really quite elegant, imo.
None of this has anything to do with the program in question in this thread.... and I have not used the program nor will I until I see a few more stability reports, so here is where I shall end my involvement with this thread. Sorry to stir the s***
That's fine--and why I wrote it was no big deal.
Truth be told my personal experience was very much like yours, except I'm only about halfway into getting my collection (if you can call it that) properly tagged. The main reason why I keep updating is so I don't see the darned generic music note on most of my music. Plus TuneWiki finds the lyrics better!

Vewwwy funny.
Believe it or not I've gotten into yet another hobby: RC planes. Every &^%$*# morning I gotta be at the airfield before work to practice (along with a good sim, naturally--RealFlight). I wanna do that 3D stuff by the summer!
As if I need another hobby...
