Default Will iPhone work for Verizon?
I have a friend who has Verizon and really wants an iPhone. Someone told him that there is a JB so iPhone will work with Verizon. Anyone done it?

I thought the only one was for T mobile.

any input is appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

Nope. Verizon uses CDMA networks, not GSM like the iPhone. Basically, VZW doesnt use SIM cards so unless you modify the hardware pretty heavily, it wont work.

Yea thats what I thought. I told him that... and he said his friend showed him something in installer that unlocked it for verizon... But I haven't seen it anywhere.

Nope. Cant be unlocked for Verizon at all...I dont think there is anything about that in installer. Maybe it was the carrier logo change thing for verizon?
