Default Where are home screen icons stored in iPhone?

Is it possible to replace the icons on the home screen through SSH? I have the comic icon package and I want to put them on my phone.

I have CyberDuck up but cannot find any folder with .ico files in it...

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is totally obvious. I'm new to jailbreak.

The easiest way I find to do it is to use iFuntastic version 5 ... here is the article about it.

Very easy to use. Just find the file in the file viewer and drag the icon you want it will change it once you restart the springboard.

It is for Mac only ... see if that works

They aren't .ico. They are called"icon.png".

They are also in the "______.app" folders you look in.

The files I have are .ico files. Is that bad? That must be why iFuntastic didn't work.

I don't understand your question.

Every application should have a file inside called icon.png - these are what show up on the springboard. Try finding it, deleting it, and then uploading the new icon. If there's an icon.ico, delete that, and upload the new icon as icon.ico.

The replacement icon files I have are .ico files.

Should I change them to .png and try to use iFuntastic?

I use SSH and use Summerboard for changing icons.

Personally I like iFuntastic. However, Ive never used any other programs. I found that easy to use so I stuck with it. I like that it formats the .png you use and you can see it on the screen before you change it. But from what I hear from other posts the programs are six one half a dozen the other. Its just preference.

I would love to use iFuntastic, but I don't want to pay.
