I just bought a 3g last week so my old V1 iPhone was deactivated while I was at the ATT store. I was thinking of playing around and jaibreaking and installing themes on the old phone.
If I jailbreak the deactivated V1 and decide to have ATT activate it later with a new phone number will I need to restore it to original status? And how long should it take for a novice? Last edited by Coolstrategist; 09-30-2008 at 05:58 PM.. |

Hey guys i just jailbroke my iphone and the only thing i got working is the NES roms emulator i managed to used SSH to upload the roms into the folder the app asked.
I downloaded like 500mb of apps though off newsgroups how do i got about putting them on the phone? which folder in ssh and stuff im a total newbie sorry. FOUND THIS TXT AND FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS: NOW I TURNED THE PHONE OFF AND NOW WHEN I TURN IT ON IT FREEZES ON THE APPLE LOGO WHAT DO I DO PLEASE HELp! Sorry lincoln,,,,,,, ive solved the problem myself thankfully after tempting to plug my phone in and restarting both the phone and computer i got the phone restored. Now i've succesfully restored my phone and its jailbroken aain. how do i go about putting cracked apps or games on

hey guys I'm new here, quick question. I jailbroke my 3G and then restored it. I tried jailbreaking again but cydia and installer won't show up now. After I jailbroke it, I synced with iTunes. Is the reason cydia and installer won't show up because I synced after jailbreaking and there are still some pieces of the jailbreak in my phone after the restore ? I tried restoring and recovering multiple times; no cydia no installer
