Are you leaving a lot of apps running in the background?
From what I understand of Tea Lock it doesn't do anything that should be taxing the cpu.
Unless, it's possibly polling things at some obscene rate.
I think you can set the polling rates through the config file. I.E. how often weather updates are checked etc.
I used Tea Lock for a bit then went only Native Rendering.
I do, however, remember having a theme installed once that made my battery drop ~20% in a short time. I think I traced to dynamic wallpapers. It was changing wallpapers and other things that decreased battery life dramatically.
Things I do to save battery:
1) If you aren't using wifi turn it off (sbssettings toggle).
2) If you have no signal at all where you're at go Airplane mode.
3) Turn brightness down.
4) Kill random apps that fire up i.e. ipod, mail.
