Wallpaper issue

Hey I recently had my phone jailbroken and had customize and summerboard, but then I restored it the normal itunes way and now I cant change the wallpaper , it stays the same no matter what.
help

so you aren't jailbroken and you want to customize your wallpaper? or you rejailbroke and you can't change your wallpaper now either? i'm a little confused as to what you are asking....

Im not jailbroken , and I want to change the wallpaper but it doesnt let me change it , its stays as the one I had when I was jailbroken.

try to restore again....if it doesnt work....jailbreak one more time....use whatever app..summboard..turn wallpaper on and then off...rebooting in between of course...after u turned the wallpaper off....uninstall summer board...see if the stock wallpapers on the iphone will change..if so...restore....
you should be good from there

when you restore, make sure you setup the iphone as a NEW iphone in iTunes. NOT from a backup. If you restore from a backup, it will reload settings used that have been altered by jailbreaking and other apps which may (and probably did) cause you problems.

I think u have to back up ur information and pOint iTunes to where the information is. I'm not sure but I hope someone chimes in the correct information.

for future reference, if you restore as a new phone, you will have to re-activate through iTunes, but it only takes maybe 5 minutes.

I'm having the same problem on a jail broken iPhone 3G running 2.0.3, it just started and I installed no apps..but like you, I go into settings/wallpaper and set a new one and it just stays the same as the one that was previously there...did you have to restore or find a faster work around? It seems to do this with my dock icons etc too, can't really change anything visually unless I apply a theme in Winter board, but then I'm stuck using that themes wallpaper, which sometimes aren't my style etc. anyone chime in PLEASE!!!!!!
