Virgin 1.0 iPhone, easiest mod?

I want to use AppTap as it sounds fun, but I have a pretty much stock iPhone. I updated iTunes and it wants me to go 1.1.1, but I'm not sure. Tried to go back to iTunes 7.4.1 but I had to uninstall the latest iTunes first.

So at the moment I'm iTunes free with 7.4.1 d/l on my computer.

What's the easiest way to AppTap?

Firstly, just ignore iTunes update.

Secondly, stay with 1.0.2 and download the AppTapInstaller from nullriver and run it!

Just to make sure I've got this right...

1. Install iTunes 7.4.1
2. Upgrade to 1.0.2
3. Install AppTap as described here.

Enjoy.
