Default unlocking an Iphone
okay, I ot a problem...I unlocked my iphone witht he firmware 1.1.1. but it still says i need a different sim in there. do i have to unlock my sim card as well? if so can someone tell me step by step on how to do that please? thanks

It sounds to me like you have a 1.1.2 phone downgraded to 1.1.1, or a 1.1.1 that has at some point been 1.1.2 ?

well i had the latest version becaus ei completely messed it up so i pressed restored on itunes and it restore sit to the latest version so i downgraded it to 1.1.1, well thats what it says I have...any help?

Have a search for the thread "accidentally upgraded to 1.1.2" - the solution is there. Hope this helps.

okay i have unlocked it and everything but its not recgonizing my sim card it says no service! i can look at you tube internet and all that but no fone calls or texting

HELP ME ASAP!!! everythign is working but it wont read my sim card!!!! do I have to unlock my sim card some how or what?
