so i sold my V1 iphone online to a guy who wanted to use it on Tmobile. i had a heck of a time simply because it was already upgraded to 2.0 so i had to downgrade the firmware to 1.1.4 and i ran ziphone on it "do it all" to unlock and jailbreak. removed my sim, put in an old nextel sim (it didn't reject it, it just didn't show any service as that service had been cancelled) so i figured all was good. so i shipped it out.
fast forward to today, the guy gets it, puts in his sim, reboots the phone, and no service. any reason that this phone shouldn't be unlocked? i have never unlocked a phone before but jailbroke numerous times. i would think that the "do it all" function on ziphone wouldn't really fail?? if anyone knows anything why this would happen or any tricks to get this guys phone running i would really appreciate it. thanks.

relax dude. not everyone is familiar with unlocking.
Go ahead, quote me. I dare you.
i'm totally relaxed chief, just is kinda sad
so did you ever figure it out? i'm in the same boat...
it wasn't unlocked, at least it didn't work with a tmobile sim card, had to redo it using pwnage tool 2.0 and it worked like a charm.
so winpwn wins over ziphone thats good anyway u got the phone working thats wonderful
yah i was kinda pissed that ziphone didn't unlock it, i ran it and it said it worked, but no clue why it didn't work. was kind of annoying walking a guy i didn't even know through the jailbreaking and unlocking process, but it all worked out and hes happy.
