My friend and I want to upgrade his phone to 1.1.3 and unlock it with ziphone. The only problem is that we aren't sure how to get his unlocked 1.0.2 back to OTB standards for the ziphone unlock.
Do we just run virginizer then upgrade the phone to 1.1.3?
I have the same question but I am on 1.1.1 unlocked and jailbroken. I want to go to 1.1.3. Do I just download the firmware and do a restore then run ziphone? Will I be jalbtoken and unlocked or do I need to do something else after ziphone? Thanks
We got it. All you need to do if you've got 1.0.2 is run the virginizer (found in the unlocking tools folder after adding i.unlock.no to your sources in installer) then restore the iPhone to 1.1.3. After that just use ZiPhone and you'll be home free.
would this be the same process for 1.1.1 unlocked and jailbroken? I want to upgrade to 1.1.3 but there are some many guides out there and stuff, I'm kinda lost and I don't want to mess up my phone because I heavily rely on it.
