This are the steps i'll take to JB and unlock my 3G 2.2.1 to 3.0, correct if wrong
First, do i need ATT sim to do the following, or put in any sim card from any provider is fine or just leave the sim out completely? I assume ultrasn0w does not unlock v.2.2.1.
1. update iTunes to v.8.2 2. update firmware through iTunes v.8.2 3. download redsn0w from link provided by iClarified tutorial 4. download iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw from link provided by iClarified tutorial 5. JB by following instructions on iClarified tutorial 6.
