Summerboard 3.2/SMBPrefs 3.2 Can't See Themes?

Hi everyone:

Sorry for a bit of a newb question here, but I just upgraded to 1.1.4 and jailbroke/unlocked it and everything went fine, since I used iPlus1.2 it included BossTools, Open SSH, Summerboard, etc...

The problem with Summerboard is that when I go into it, and choose theme, there is nothing on the page...I SSH'd in with Putty and ln -s /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard and then ftp'd in and changed the permissions in the /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app folder to include read/write...Still can't see any themes, I have tried multiple resets and uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I still can't get customer themes to work with icons or anything, however when I activate a wallpaper it does show up on the background, and it says Summerboard is active at the bottom...

Anyone have any ideas?

If you don't already have it, install Smb Themes Fix.

I figured it out, it was a simple matter of restoring and getting it again...

I still have the problem with some summerboard themes not showing up. I am thinking maybe not all themes are compatible with 1.1.4??

I'm having a similar problem. WHen i first jailbroke, all the themes I downloaded worked. Now for some reason every theme I download a new one it doesnt work. The only thing that happens is my wallpaper becomes my theme and the icons become the standard ones. Is there a new fix for this? Is anyone else having this problem?

I was having this problem as well but you have to download the 1.1.3/1.1.4 theme fix and everytime your theme doesn't work, u have to uninstall the theme fix and reinstall it... This works for most of the themes however some themes don't work

The problem that I was having at first wasn't that, I would go into SMB and when I clicked on Themes, it wouldn't list any...impossible to fix from what I can see, but a restore and reinstall resolved the problem, then I had the same problem you are explaining.

Installing the themes fix every time works, but if you are like me and want to know what the real problem is, read on:

It is a permissions issue, when you get new summer board themes installed, they are given read only permissions, you have to SFTP into the iPhone's IP address and go to the Summer board folder and then highlight all the .png files and right-click properties and change their permissions to a minimum value of 755 (or check all boxes)
