Step-Step Tutorial on How to Create Ringtones for iPhone???

the whole changing .mp3 to .m4r does not work anymore. i'm assuming it's because of itunes update?

but i was wondering if anyone has a great step-to-step guide on how to get your own ringtone in your iPhone.

i have the program already on where to cut the song to the section i want as a ringtone. i just need help on how to go about making it ringtone capable on my iPhone.

with the program i use, all i have to do is convert my song to aac (under the itunes "advanced" tab)
drag it to the desktop
drag it to garageband, edit it. save it
export it to itunes
then convert that clip to aac and drag it to the desktop
from there i drag it to my ringtone service of choice...

if you have a windows pc, download a program called ibrickr. It automatically adds the ringtones for you
