Default Ssh/ip?

I noticed this morning that I could not connect to my phone via SSH? When I checked the IP address, it had changed. When I enter the new IP address, I still cannot connect via SSH? Has anybody else experienced this? Also I cannot connect to my WiFi?

1. Your wifi IP will often change when you lock the screen and drop wifi. IP's are often dynamically assigned by the router.

2. Are you sure SSH is on? You have Bossprefs right?

3. You can't connect your iPhone to wifi? Well there's your problem right there... SSH of course will not work if the phone isn't on the wifi.

Yes, I have BossPrefs installed. You are right that SSH won't work without WiFi. That's the problem. How do I get my WiFi to work again? I've never encountered this before. And this is the first time the IP address changed.

Thanks

Never mind! I reset networks, and got the WiFi to work, now to get SSH to work.

Well there are a lot of variables involved there. I assume you've reset your router and modem?

Try deleting your WEP/WPA and make a new password. I've heard of that fixing this before.

The few time I have had this issue I just turned off WiFi in Boss and then turned it back on again. Sometimes a phone reboot. Never had it stay off after the above.

I tried a number of different things. And somehow everything came back. I got my normal IP address back. Now everything works. I don't know what happened.

Thanks to all.

Rebooting always solved any jailbreaking-related issues I had.
