Ringtones...Really Confused

So I have been working on trying to install ringtom
nes for days and have not posted for help because i thought I could figure it out by reading... Unfortunately this is not the case...

I have a jailbroken 1.1.1
have installed sendeong 19e
have modded the oct value to 0755
I have installed Tapp and tried to use TinMan's CP plist edit

somehow I managed to install a complete song as a ringtone but it is not what i want to use, and in addition, i cannot find the song when browsing with WSCP.

There are details that seem to be missing whan I read such as:
what are you changing when you edit a plist?
where is the plistOK file located?
does the file need to be ACC or Mp3?
I was under the impression that if i used sendsong then I wouldnt hane to do anything other than fix the plist IF I synced. I hardly ever sync so I dont know if/whenI should run Tapp

Man I am confused.... can anyone help? Thank you in advance!


OK I may have got it! The file must be an mp3 in order to use sendsong. Syncing now... lets see if it still works after!
