Introducing Everything iCafe Social

Default question from a newbie
i have a iphone activated and 2 year contract with at&t. im upgraded to 1.1.1. i want to jailbreak but can i restore my phone afterwards and install new updates if necessary. and also if i do restore will apple have any way of knowing whether the phone was jailbroken or not? thanks in advance....

if you restore i doubt they can know..
