Question about NEW iPhone purchase today

How's it going everyone. Question. I purchased a new Unit today W/O box and I need to verify that this is a OTB 1.1.2
Serial number is 5k8012M and some other numbers. now the 4th and 5th digit is 01. I know this is not a week 1 phone. Can someone help me with this?? do you think this is a 1.1.2 OTB???

basically if the imei last 2 digits are more then 45 its a pain to jail break but if not your safe

Well the 5K says it is furbished. I don't know about the 4th and 5th on a refurb. On the original phone the 4th and 5th was the week that it was made.

What are the other settings in general/about say?

That would be the 4th and 5th of the orig serial. Thus the 45 week is when the OBT started.

Mine is 26

Mi IMEI is 53

Well under version it says 1.1.2 (3B48b). the Imei says 01 143400 738289 6.

For the person that said to connect to Itunes and see what it says:
That doesnt tell you what it is OTB. Could've been upgraded.

Well it says you are at 1.1.2 so I know you could jailbreak and probably do the anysim with it.

Guess that is what you want to do?

I really don't see you having a problem, as long as you still have access to 7.5 iTunes and 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 firmware you will have no prob.

Because you can always do a restore if you have probs.
