Default pwned 3g, iTunes stays in "Recover Your Phone" screen

I just used pwnage to jailbeak my 3g. everything seems to have gone well, BUT my iTunes is always on the "Recover Your Phone" screen when I plug the phone in. I cannot see the music that's on the phone or change the settings, or the see the playlists. I can drag music into the phone.

I've tried competeing the recover form backup several times, but it always comes back to the same screen after.

Anyone know how to fix this? if not, is there a failsafe way to go back to the pre-pwned state? Thanks,
M

that's weird. Do this:

Upgrade/restore to 2.01 via Itunes to get your phone back to normal

Use the NEW Pwnage 2.0.2 to jailbreak 2.0.1

Smile enter dfu mode

Turn phone off
Hold down power and home buttons for 10 seconds
Release power button but Continue to hold home button down for another 10 seconds
open iTunes, it should recognize the phone in DFU mode so u can restore.

This has also happened to me,you can do either of two things A)select new phone instead of restoring(i havent tried this) or B) uninstall itunes and reinstall it,this worked for me everytime the recovery screen came up n wouldnt sync, the reason behind this is i think is because winpwn n pwnage PWN ur itunes, not your fone so therefore re-install itunes and restore ur last back up and you should be good to go...hope this helped.
