ok so heres there deal. last night i got a little drunk came home at 2:00am and decided with 3 hours of sleep since thursday id Pwn my phone...BAD IDEA...i did it in expert mode because i wanted custom Boot and Recovery Mode screens...well it worked but something was wrong, cause when i tried to plug it into itunes it gives me the Set Up Your Phone screen, where you can set up a new iphone or restore from back up. well i got it to let me restore to factory and then i restored from the backup i made before i Pwned, and now i cant get off the setup screen at all. ive run the back up twice with no errors my phone goes back to normal but iTunes wont let me Sync; it just keeps going to the Set-up your phone screen...any suggestions? considering i cant even get to the restore or update screen?
I had exactly the same problem , I could not get the phone to go into DFU mode . Then I ended up getting the Connect to itunes screen, but when I did nothing happened (this is on a Mac) , plugged it into my PC and it was recognised immediately by iTunes as a phone in recovery? mode .Plugged it back in the mac and ,again, not recognised, tried a different USB port and it worked!!Restored using the custom ispw , no problem.
