FYI for Window's users

WinPwn uses compatible bundles (as provided by Planetbeing’s XPwn code), so we anticipate that WinPwn will be updated soon after our PwnageTool release, so Windows users shouldn’t have to wait too long! Please remember the DevTeam doesn’t provide end-user support for WinPwn!

Looks like there's been a change in the release of Pwnage 2.0.2 til Friday.

We’ve just had word that our friends at RiPDev almost have Installer 4 (Beta) ready for public beta release, with that awesome news we’ve decided to include it in the PwnageTool 2.0.2 release, we are waiting for the software from them and we need to quickly test and add a small couple of changes that go alongside Installer.

Also! Here's an interesting little bit from the Devteam for people interested in Unlocking their 3G.

Warning: If you care about the possibility of a GSM/3G unlock in the future (there is no unlock available as yet), do not update your 3G device with iTunes unless you do it via PwnageTool 2.0.2 (this means you’ll need to create a custom .ipsw with PwnageTool 2.0.2 and install it using iTunes) - If you have updated over the last few days with iTunes, you’ll still be able to Jailbreak using PwnageTool 2.0.2 but it may reduce the chance of you being able to unlock the Phone to be able to use a SIM card from all carriers in the future.

So in other words, you may or not be able to unlock if you updated to 2.0.1 already via iTunes. You CAN still jailbreak, but there's a chance it won't unlock when it become available.

Quick question--Customize is creating all sorts of problems for me, and I can't fully un-install it. It's messed up my key board and I cant fix it. It's locked my "lock screen" image....I hate customize. If I upgrade the iphone to the new 2.0.1 or whatever that came out, will that remove all customize crap?

Restore first, then upgrade. While this will fix your boot issues, the new firmware won't make Customize work any better. It's always been an iffy app.

It should. You're basically restoring, So you'll lose your apps that have been loaded from Cydia. It should take out that problem with the wallpaper not changing too.

i just redid my phone cause of customize... it was cool and all but when i changed themes i would have the previous icon still and not the new one, plus it was lagging my phone alot... so i just installed winterboards and all is good now

edit- if u go with 2.0.1 wait till this tool is released or ur phone will be locked....
