Default PLEASE HELP!!! BIG problem Jailbreak problem!

hi everyone, any help is VERY appriciated!!!

ok, so i bought an unlocked iPhone off ebay in october. i think it was version 1.1.2 as it came with a button for the itunes store. im also using it in canada so it is definately unlocked, but i don't know if it's jailbroken.

so today i went to this thread : http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum...mac-21739.html

i followed the instuctions in the "Upgrading to 1.12" section, and got to step 3. i was at this point: "When your iPhone is ready, click 'Jailbreak!' and wait for the process to complete. The phone will then reboot a few times." but now my iphone keeps displayi8ng the picture of the itunes symbol with the chord.

does anyone know what i should do to get my phone back to normal, and then jailbreak in to 1.1.3?

The scree you see indicates that your phone is in DFU mode, or Restore Mode; iTunes will not work with it until it is restored. Before you restore (if you do, you'll have to unlock it again) try either using iBrickr or iNdependence. These programs can knock the phone out of DFU mode.

Use iBrickr if you use a Windows computer.
Use iNdependence if you are using a Mac.

Oh boy, iTunes 7.6.1... this hit today, hence it's new, and iNdependence came first. You'll need to re-install iTunes 7.6. I'll look around for a download link. Anybody else have one for him?
