Look up downgrading to 1.1.1 from 1.1.2. Then ,when you get to 1.1.1, you have to jailbreak it. After the jailbreak is finished install Oktoprep under tweaks 1.1.1. You might have to also install the community sources to get Oktoprep.

Finally, upgrade DONT restore to 1.1.2 and look up how to jailbreak it, this might also require java runtime if you dont already have it installed on your computer.

Well the way i did it was to do a google search for firmware 1.1.1, then i saved it somewhere, next you have to shift click on restore (on mac its option click?) it should then bring up a window where you can choose the file you would like to do the restore from.

Click on the file that you downloaded earlier, it should start restoring.

After it get restored you WILL get an error. Install iBricr for PC, or iNdependance for mac? then you will be able to get past the error on the phone with an option on one of those programs.

THIS WILL NOT MAKE YOU ABLE TO USE THE PHONE ON THE IPHONE

Then you will have to jailbreak 1.1.1 and install Oktoprep, to prepare for the jailbreaking of 1.1.2.

Then just do what i told you before Update the firmware this time dont restore and you should be ok from there, all you have to do after you get 1.1.2 up is to jailbreak it if you want or you can wait.

Upgrading to 1.1.2 again will make your iPhone useable again.
