Newbie At Unlocking Need Some Advice...

Hey guyz-
Never posted in the "modification" section before. I bought my original iphone in Nov and never did any unlocking or jailbreaking etc to it as I am not the most computer literate person out there and I prolly would have ended up blowing up my new iphone.

I am buying the new 3G in July and unlike a lot of people I am going to WAIT until I set it up before I sell my original just to make sure I like it. I wanted to ask your advice(again not very computer literate here) on how to go about restoring my original and unlocking it..few questions:

Do I use the same sim card that's in my original iphone for my 3G? If I dont, do I sell the iphone with the sim card in it? If I dont sell it with the sim card in it, do I need to take out my sim card before OR after I restore it?

Will I STILL be able to "restore" my original iphone even after I set up and synch my new 3G to my itunes?

I think I've figured out how to delete my personal info before I sell, any other suggestions would be good tho. Finally I read I should really "unlock" to get a better price..I think I am going to use iLiberty+ instead of Ziphone, do you think that's okay? If there are any other steps I'm missing or forgetting any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated..Thanks for putting up with the lame questions...
