Need some clarification/help

I bought a 1.1.2 OTB iPhone about 3 months ago. Attempted to jalibreak/unlock but was unsuccesful at the unlock part. I had given up until today and attempted again using Ziphone. Everything went find with ziphone, updated appsupport and sent it to the iphone. Rebooted and I still get no signal and the dialer and SMS still crash.

I believe my problem lies somewhere in the fact that I think I downgraded my bootloader the first time I tried jailbreaking/unlocking. If this is even possible how would I go about updating my bootloader back to the the one I need. If I am wrong about downgrading my bootloader (because it isnt possible or something like that) how would I go about getting my phone back to original condition so I can attempt this from scratch?

I was going to attempt virginizing my phone (not sure which one of the two to use either) and then attempting everything again from the start. Is it possible to virginize a 1.1.2 OTB?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am sick of using my L7 with an iPhone in my other pocket.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I might be wrong and never downgraded my bootloader. Am I supposed to downgrade my bootloader for the unlock to work? BTW, my iPhone says the firmware its using is 4.02.13_G

I was under the impression that ziphone was for the 1.1.3. I could be wrongs tho.

Should I attempt updating to 1.1.3 via itunes and then give ziphone a try?

It is only for 1.1.3 You need to upgrade to 1.1.3 first. THEN use ZiPhone.

Thanks a million guys! Finally have a usable iPhone again! One problem though, the installer isnt working. Is there a fix for this yet?

Edit: Nevermind, got it working perfectly. Problems came from deciding to restore a profile instead of just starting fresh.
