My mate has bricked his iPhone, please advise.

Hi everyone, this is one of the 8 iPhones that i had unlocked, but didn't upgrade. My mate decided to have a go himself as he thought it "looked easy". It seems that he has managed to get the phone in a mess and now even if i downgrade (having fully virginized) to v1.02 that the phone no longer works!

Even after anySIM having said it's fully unlocked, the phone still does not work!

I've never experienced this problem.....but i've tried everything i can to fix it, to no avail.

Can anyone confirm his iPhone has now become his phone will remain an expensive 8Gb touch?

I've figured out where he went wrong and have managed 2 save it from becoming a brick!

He uploaded the anySIM program via iNdependence which apparently doesnt work properly.

So a bit of advice to everyone......upload anysim via WinSCP, Cyberduck, Fugu etc!
