My iphone signal bars are gone!!! help!!!

my signal bars are gone I downloaded all the sources and tried to install an app that could change the color of the signal bars and i couldn"t it went to the home screen annd they changed colors iand i didn"t even downloaded it but then all of a sudden they were gone i can make calls and every thing but the signal bars are gone

Go back to customize>signal bars> and click the top of the page "backup"
which installs the original icons.
