Oh c'mon, it's not THAT bad!

Besides, I read somewhere that the wrong set of keystrokes on a Mac can actually open a portal to hell.

Not sure on that one..

Hi Slope,

I am running into a similar problem and I am not exactly sure what to do since I am so afraid that I will brick it forever.

I started with the unlocked iphone (1.0.2) then I verginized it back to factory condition. Then I upgraded to 1.1.1 and used oktoprep to prepare 1.1.2 jailbrake, I then later successfully jailbroke the phone.

Everything went well till I use anysim (for 1.1.2 not OTB) which somehow, after it completed, puts iphone into infinite reboot mode.

Could I follow your method by using restore to 1.0.2 and start from scratch? Any suggestion?

Thanks a heap!!

JR

you need to get it to the point where it is in and recognizes that your iphone is in restore mode again..

Try this first to get your pc to find the device. Then resotre 1.1.1 and go from there.

I will try and dig out the full guide i used.
I have it somewhere.

1. Closed iTunes
2. Disconnected iPhone from USB.
3. Restarted iTunes.
4. Hold down HOME + POWER buttons.
5. Reconnect USB to iPhone while holding down HOME & POWER buttons.

It should be as long as you used oktoprep like you did.
