My fix for 1.1.4 youtube and mail not working: uninstall youtube activator O_o

so this has been driving me crazy and I've tried everything short of a restore. (don't want to do that not knowing what caused it, in case it happens again, I've restored for nothing)

I finally thought I'd lost the battle, when I came across the google search for "iPhone 1.1.4 mail fix" and it was a MMI post describing instructions like installing syncfix. Well I did that and it didnt work, so I thought maybe the youtube activator has to be installed after syncfix. I uninstalled activator, rebooted, and the whole dang thing worked. Mail, youtube, the whole 9 yards.

Just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, I went and installed youtube activator again and it actually broke mail and youtube. Uninstalled it, rebooted, and all is well. That was totally weird. It worked fine the first time I jailbroke. But the second time (now) its actually the problem.
