Default Looking for a .plist converter.

I'm looking for a plist converter to view and edit files under Windows Vista.
My understanding is the new plist files are in binary format (to save space).
Anyone know of a good one to convert them as least to xml?

Thanks for any help.

Does anyone use plists in this format besides Apple?

There may not be one for Vista, Mac's use the one that comes with Mac OS developers tools.

My understanding was that if you simply rename the end to .zip then you could unzip them, but maybe I'm thinking of a different extention...

i believe you are thinking .rar

.rar is the mac version of a zipped file

.plists are not zipped, they are a different text format

It was plist files, I ended up installing a copy of MAC OS (dual boot) to edit files.

^^^^^^^^^^^

Correct, I just changed some of my existing files that I did not like with ones I wanted by editing the plist.
