Default Jailbreaking on Vista?

Has anyone managed to jailbreak there 3g 3.0 on vista yet? I had massive trouble trying to do it, files wouldn't recognise blah blah, so I did it on XP no problem, trouble was I done it on someone elses XP and lost all my contacts etc etc! I got home today and tried to sync it all back up, but only to find it wiped all my jailbreak. I should of guessed but I thought id give it a try!

Has anyone and useful tips for me? links etc?
