Default Jailbreak situation

Hey everyone, so the only thing I want to do is put 3rd party apps on my iPhone. I am an existing AT&T customer with a 16 gig iPhone with 1.1.3 firmware and am unsure of my bootloader version (the 5th and 6th number on my serial is below 42 so I have heard this means I have 3.9BL) I am running Tiger.
I know that with the 1.1.4 (haven't updated yet) update there are some claiming jailbreak works fine and others have issues. Would it be wise for me to wait a while until the ZiPhone creators give the okay?
Anyway, like I said before, all I want to do is load some NES roms, some cool apps, and maybe customize my homescreen. Would I be looking to do a pure jailbreak, meaning, do I just need to jailbreak and avoid the "activating" and "unlocking" part.
1. I am running Tiger so would the latest version of ZiPhone work for me?
2. Install.app, is this installed when ZiPhone is done doing it's thing? Also, does the install.app connect to the internet to search for the new apps or is this not true?
Sorry for all the questions, I just really wanna get some NES games on my new iPhone. Thank you very much.

Well i'd definently wait until Ziphone releases something, the fact that it works doesn't mean its all safe and dandy. As for even jailbreaking on 1.1.4? I wouldn't do it. I would jailbreak your 1.1.3 until it becomes necessaery to update to 1.1.4 for SDK purposes etc...I would say this because many of the apps that are now working for 1.1.3, won't be working for 1.1.4 yet and thus you will be limited.

I didn't do the ZiPhone jailbreak, i had jailbroken my phone beforehand on a more tedious method, but i can say that you would want to do the full jailbreak (there aren't any half jailbreaks) and then i believe when ZiPhone has jailbroken your phone you just allow itunes to activate it again.

If your looking to stay with AT&T, like i have, then yeah don't worry about unlocking. ZiPhone i dont think even deals with unlocking yet.
